I completed the puzzle and found a sandwich name, and verified the name in Google, it is a sandwich-related name (although never heard of it before). But after entering the name in the solution bar, it gives me an “INCORRECT” response. Are others facing the same thing?
try using spaces. Same thing happened to me until I spaced out the words.
yup same problem. But in earlier puzzles, other people had the same problem. So waiting for a fix is the best thing to do imo.
So, for Puzzle 14, you entered a spaced out solution, or are you waiting for a fix, and then you’ll enter the solution?
I tried both and nothing works… so im just waiting
Thanks, that worked.
ohh sorry… I had a typo in it at the end
Did it work for you?
now yeah… my french teacher would have killed me if she knew
These puzzles are so easy, although a bit time-taking. I want them to give us puzzles that are so tough that almost everyone (including me) would find it difficult. Somewhat like Arrow Maze.
Arrow maze was my first puzzle here and that’s why I joined this community. So yeah I totally agree
There was another tough one earlier called Thermometers, which took some time for me without coding.
Aww I wish I had found out about this earlier! I joined during the arrow puzzle which must be when they started their big ad campaign in the UK, but the earlier puzzles look really fun as well.
I too had the same problem with entering the solution until I spaced it out correctly. Although today’s puzzle wasn’t very hard and took only ten minutes or so, I enjoyed it much more than the body parts one.
I found out about this competition just on the day of the first puzzle on 7th June from a UK-based Youtuber programmer “Code with Ania Kubow”, whom I follow.
yes - spaces between words do the trick
it’s crazy that the answer to this puzzle was a very common sandwich here in Austria. I solved .maybe 5 of them and already knew the answer. The puzzle got me craving sandwiches too ngl.
Haha thats funny, I am just starting it now. I was actually gonna make a thread like but got beat to the punch lol
From India here, that’s why never heard of that sandwich name. Sandwiches of most kinds are considered western dishes, not native to my country. But we Indians are very good at Indianising western or Chinese dishes. In India, we have a popular sandwich (although not called sandwich) called Vada Pav, which simply is a deep-fried potato in a half-sliced bun with chutney.
By the way, did you get the “Fastest Badge Collector” badge? If not, I hope they make one, especially for you.
It would have been amazing if they made one.
