Your account login uses MFA for verification. You can switch between SMS text and using an authenticator application. When using an authentication app preference, you can set up a TOTP (Time-based One Time Password) application to configure 2FA. TOTP applications can be more reliable to connect outside of your sms network.

TOTP (Time-based One Time Password) applications automatically generate a 6-digit code that changes after a given amount of time. A few preferred TOTP applications are:

Change Your MFA Preference

  1. Sign in to the Client Portal as described in Signing in to the Client Portal and navigate to Your account username at the top right corner > User Details .
  2. Select Change MFA Preference > Select Authenticator app or SMS authentication .
  • The verification method dialogue box appears.
  1. On your mobile device, open your authenticator app and select system settings to scan QR code.The 6 digit number generator should appear, titled Rapyd - Client Portal (your email) .
  • Note : If you selected SMS authentication you should receive an SMS message with the 6 digit number.
