# When do I need to use Identity Verification in Rapyd Wallet?

I read the document in this link - [[Identity Verification](https://docs.rapyd.net/build-with-rapyd/docs/verifying-identity)]  
In the product environment, is Identity Verification obligatory for my customer to can create the wallet?
