# How is rapyd different from stripe or square?

Hey I’m a stripe user. I live in Toronto Canada.

What are the advantages of Rapyd vs stripe vs square? Isn’t this just adding another company into the mix? why would I use rapyd?

Rapyd is a Fintech as service and embedded finance; as of that we can support many different use cases and help you leverage the Rapyd global network.  
So If you need a global gateway and a signal API that supports many countries and different PMTs - Rapyd is the way to go.
