# How do I create a sender when disbursing funds to a beneficiary?

The **sender** is the individual or business that is sending funds to the **beneficiary**. A sender must be created for your Rapyd Business Account in order to create a payout.

To create a sender for your Rapyd Business Account, navigate to **Disburse** \> **Senders**.

Click the **Create Sender** button in the upper right corner.

A window appears. Provide the sender information, the payout method type the sender will use, and additional details if needed.

Click **Confirm**. A sender is created.
