# Activate and Deactivate Payment Methods in my Account

As an account administrator you can activate or deactivate payment methods with your account in client portal.

### Steps to deactivate a payment method

1. Log into your account in [Client Portal](https://dashboard.rapyd.net/login).
2. Go to My Settings \> Payment Methods \> Active.
3. Click on the deactivate icon \> Select Close on the confirmation dialogue box.

### Steps to activate a payment method

1. Log into your account in [Client Portal](https://dashboard.rapyd.net/login).
2. Go to Settings \> Payment Methods \> Advanced \> Request Acesss.
3. Complete the fields for your designed country and payment method.  
a. Select And to add any other country and payment method.
